Treatments

Aromatherapy, Reiki and Indian Head Massage treatments all take place at our practice in Beckenham. There is parking nearby and we are also handy for bus routes and a few minutes walk from trams and trains at Beckenham Junction.

We also have a treatment room in Bromley. A short walk from Bromley South and bus routes.

About me

I have always been interested in plants and the natural world, and in 1991 took the opportunity to begin studying aromatherapy. After gaining my diploma I took an advanced course, and since then I have kept up to date with regular training. I became a tutor in 1995 and taught on the ITEC Aromatherapy Diploma course from 1998 to 2005 in addition to giving treatments. In 2002 I also studied Indian Head Massage.

Of course this all means that I can carry out treatments on myself and make my own aromatherapy creams and lotions for myself and my clients. It also means that I can offer treatments for a variety of conditions. For example, aromatherapy is particularly good for treating stress related disorders, but can also assist in relieving the symptoms of many chronic conditions and as a preventative measure for maintaining good health.

A fellow practitioner had introduced me to Reiki in 1994. I found this treatment so powerful in my own life that I decided to go on a workshop so that I could continue treating myself and others, eventually becoming a Reiki Master in 1997 and a Karuna Reiki® Master in 2003.
